Advertising on News WalesAd rates at News Wales are based on impressions. Current rates are:Page top banner - £7.50/CPM. Minimum buy 30,000 - £225.00 (CPM means cost per thousand impressions). This banner appears on all pages on the site in rotation. Our standard banner size is 434x61. Right column banner - £4.25/CPM. Minimum buy 30,000 - £127.50. This banner (size 135 x 50) appears above the latest headlines column and is displayed on all pages on the site in rotation. E-mail sponsorship - Up to thirty words plus hyperlink at the top of the weekly news briefing received by approximately 600 subscribers £33/week. Minimum 3 weeks. A maximum of two sponsors per week. Banner Guidelines - We can design banners at no cost for advertisers. If you wish to use your own please make note of these guidelines. File size limit is 15K. We strongly encourage you to make file sizes as low as possible. Banners need to be in .jpg or .gif format. Advertising guidelines - As the majority of our users are interested in Wales-related issues we want to provide them with relevant advertising so ads with no specific relevance to Wales are discouraged. We are unable to accept misleading advertisements, including but not limited to: fake scrollbars, ads made to look like clickable text links, ads which are made to look like Windows, Mac or Linux functions or errors.
