Details of the exciting new event will be unveiled at the Flintshire ArtsFest launch on Monday, 21 January at 12.30pm in the Haydn Rees Room, Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Mold.

The programme has now been finalised and the ArtsFest has attracted performers of the highest calibre with the emphasis on high quality arts presentation. To ensure that members of the community and visitors to Flintshire can develop their artistic skills and access new creative experiences some of the events will also include practical workshops.

Caryl Parry Jones will perform with Harmony Central in the Clwyd Room, Clwyd Theatr Cymru on Saturday, 8 March and Sian Phillips will join the event on Sunday 9 March at Clwyd Theatr Cymru. Connah’s Quay Civic Hall will be the venue for some fantastic contemporary dance with the ‘Dance Platform’ event. Many other events have been arranged for the ArtsFest including work with artists in some of Flintshire’s schools, including the Welsh Children’s Poet Lauriat, and a fantastic exhibition of paintings and mixed media at Flint Library by emerging local artist Tony Roberts.
