Tamsin Dunwoody appointed new deputy minister

First Minister Rhodri Morgan has appointed Tamsin Dunwoody as Deputy Minister for Environment, Planning and Countryside, it was announced this afternoon.
Ms Dunwoody will continue in her current role as Deputy Minister for Economic Development and Transport. She also chairs the Assembly working party on Bovine TB.
Tamsin Dunwoody was first elected as Labour AM for Preseli
Pembrokeshire on May 1 2003. Mother to five children, she lives on a small-holding in Pembrokeshire.
Ms Dunwoody was educated at Grey Coat Hospital and the University of Kent, and trained in the NHS, working in hospitals in London for nearly 15 years. Previously an adviser to small businesses in West Wales, Ms Dunwoody is also a member of Mothers Union.
