National Park team win sea rowing trophy 10/7/2007
A team from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority had just six weeks to learn how to handle a longboat before braving the tidal currents of the Daugleddau.
The training sessions in Tenby paid off and they beat seven other teams to win the Novice Rowing Challenge.
The rowers, John Worrall, Polly Groom, Adam Cruickshank and Rebecca Banks are all National Park staff.
The two and a half mile race took place at Black Tarr Point, Llangwm.
A junior crew from Go4It also competed in the race, which was run by the Welsh Sea Rowing Association.
