Newport has been voted as one of the top ten places to visit in 2010 by healthy living website realbuzz.com, along with tourism favourites Las Vegas, Vancouver and Istanbul.

As the host city for the 2010 Ryder Cup, Newport is dubbed ‘the place to be when the golf swings into action between 1-3 October.’

The city centre, Victorian provisions market, historic attractions such as Caerleon and the surrounding countryside are also recommended as places to see for those who want to experience more than just golf.
