
A 16-year-old boy of Afghan origin who is afraid he is due to be deported has been missing from his foster home in Rhyl since December 22.
But Waheed Ullah Amjri is unware that he has beeen given permission to stay in the United Kingdom until 2014.
Waheed was last seen at Rhyl Railway Station at 1.05pm on Saturday December 22 and is believed to have boarded a train to Manchester. He was due to arrive in Manchester at 2.57pm that day, but has not been seen since and he has made no contact with his foster carers.
Police say it is possible he may have boarded the London train at Chester.
Waheed is described as being of slim build with short curly hair and facial stubble. He was last seen wearing a grey coat, a black jumper, blue jeans and brown trainers.
Anyone with information relating to Waheed’s whereabouts is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101.
