
Calennig celebrations once again return to the heart of Cardiff's civic centre this New Years Eve with a whole host of free live entertaininment.
Calling all Super Troupers! Get ready to don your platforms and take a chance on ‘Platinum', Britain's leading Abba tribute band.
Live music will kick off from 9.30pm with SuperDeluxe a disco and funk party band led by Cardiff's own Simon Kingman
From 11.10pm and seeing in the New Year will be Platinum who will perform all the greatest hits from Sweden's finest.
Comparing the evening will be Real Radio's Jason Harrold who will countdown the New Year and finally the evening will end with a spectacular firework display which will bring a magical end to the year in Cardiff.
Cardiff's Winter Wonderland will also be open on New Years Eve for people to skate in 2013 on the Admiral Open Air Ice Rink alongside the family funfair, which will be open 12noon until 1am on New Year's Eve and until 2pm until 8pm on New Years Day

Cabinet Member for Sport, Culture and Leisure, Cllr Huw Thomas, said: "There is plenty of family fun planned this New Year's Eve and best of all most of the entertainment is free. Callenig is a firm favourite in the Christmas and New Years Celebration in the city, providing the biggest party in the capital.
"2012 has been a fantastic year in the Capital and Calennig will mark the start of 2013. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year."
And if you haven't made it to skate in 2012 there is still plenty of time as the rink is open until 6 Jan 2013!
