Blaenau Gwent officers are warning residents that troublemakers will not be welcome at pubs in Brynmawr and Blaina after 5 people received PubWatch bans last month.
All five received bans of various lengths for abusive behaviour towards pub customers and staff.
A 23-year-old woman was banned for life from all pubs who have entered the PubWatch scheme, a 33-year-old woman was banned three years, a 19-year-old man banned for one year, and another two men, aged 19 and 29, were banned for six months.
All those banned are from the Blaina area.
A total of 19 pubs have now signed up to Pubwatch in Brynmawr and Blaina which promotes safe and responsible drinking.
Working closely with local pubs and clubs, PubWatch enables licensees to speak directly with each other and to Gwent Police. This allows offers to react to incidents as and when they are happening and shows a real team effort in stopping this type of behaviour.
PubWatch also offers licensed premises the opportunity to share best practice across the industry and provides a forum for Gwent Police and Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council to understand issues and discuss problems with a group.
CSO Linzi Nicholls, of Brynmaw Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "People need to be aware that most of the pubs in the area are now signed up to PubWatch and if anyone behaves anti-socially in any of these premises then their information will be shared with Gwent Police and other pubs.
"Anybody who is abusive to other customers or pub staff risks being banned for life through PubWatch."
